That Ain't It! Scoreboard Leader for June and July 2009:

An Interview with Hugh Dyer of Ponchatoula, Louisiana
Hugh Dyer was selected for the 2009 That Ain't It! Hall of Fame because he was the first person to score $10 million, $50 million, and $100 million in cumulative winnings in Game Show. Way to go, Hugh!

Tell us a little bit about yourself...
I am 62 and a Vietnam veteran with 7 children and I live in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Our little town is approximately 30 miles from New Orleans. I have owned several restaurants and retail businesses and still, on occasion, pay attention to The Little Toy Company, which I have been building for 35 years now. I collect and sell on Ebay various key wound toys and trains. My latest interest there is money. I sell unique numbered dollar bills and have done quite well. My name on Ebay is Hughscurrency. I was the first international dealer of the year when I owned and managed Shakeys Pizza Parlor. The reason for that award was that I employed about 35% handicapped people mainly because the town and media of the time just didn't want to talk about such things. So, I got back at them by hiring as many handicapped people as I could. It was a great success!

Describe your interest in trivia...

I and my family love trivia. They won't play Scrabble with me anymore because I win all the time. They barely let me play Trivial Pursuit as well. I have read every Ripley's Believe it or Not paperback and that alone has given me lots of information that most people ignore.

What are some of your favorite iPhone apps?
My favorite applications are, of course, That Ain't It and Scrabble, Monopoly and Spades. The application Crazy Machines is quite interesting and a very fun one indeed.

What's your favorite category in That Ain't It!?
My favorite categories are the words and mathematics questions.

What's your least favorite category in That Ain't It!?
My least favorite is the international category. Most people don't even know where the country is, much less answers about their leaders. Sad, but true.

What new features would you most like to see added to That Ain't It!?
I have seen in other games that there is a place for weekly, monthly and champion status boards. You might have some reward for a weekly or monthly high scorer. Don't make the questions too hard and yet, make them interesting. Some of the trick questions are quite good.

What strategy did you use to get such a high cumulative score on That Ain't It!?
I have a good memory and remember my mistakes and this is probably why I have done so well. I realize that it might be hard to beat me, but not impossible!
